Full Center
A full center is defined as a new or emerging 501c3 organization or hospital committed to improving the health of its community through the implementation of Fresh Rx’s mission, vision, and programming. A full center carries all rights and trademarks on a year-by-year basis given quality of programming and mission alignment continues. A full center shares the strength that comes in numbers and the credibility of years of gathered research with proven outcomes.
Full Center Benefits – Initiation
2 annual site visits for support and quality assurance
Access to operational toolkit that includes Impact Surveys, weekly newsletters, Garden Program curriculums for both cohorts
Best practice toolkit which includes steps to provide high quality programming
Access to branded special events and dinners (including run of shows, sourcing tips, etc)
25 hours of training per year for up to 10 people (include hospital partner)
Use of Fresh Rx marks; brand and brand book; and development plan which includes grant and corporate sponsor leads
Marketing toolkit (website shell; formatting for business cards, envelopes, and other collateral) • Link included on Fresh Rx (original) website
501c3 requirements and best practices/assistance gaining 501c3 designation
Board structure and on-boarding kit for new board members
Grand opening support (on request; additional fees may be assessed)
Full Center Benefits – On-going
Access to toolkits

1 annual site visit (questions/quality assurance) - plus travel expenses
Full Center Requirements
At least 1 year’s operating in the bank before launch
At least 5 board members including 1 attorney; 1 CPA; 1 Physician
At least 1 community partner (hospital, university, or healthcare system) with MOU in place • 3 partnerships with local farmers who grow using organic processes
Delivery capabilities
One Program Director; at least part-time bookkeeper
Agreement to operate at least one of the two core programs
Partial/Lite Center
Partial/Lite centers are existing 501c3 organizations currently utilizing the Fresh Rx name who want to continue to use the name. In order to maintain the integrity of the brand, Fresh Rx, Inc. will make site visits to ensure that the programming meets our minimum standards.
Partial/Lite Center Benefits
2 annual site visits - plus travel expenses
Access to best practice toolkit
Continued use of Fresh Rx trademarked name
Partial Center Requirements
3 partnerships with local farmers who grow using organic processes
At least 1 community partner (hospital, university, or healthcare system) with MOU in place
Program Affiliate
Program affiliates are existing nonprofits who wish to adopt one or more Fresh Rx, Inc. programs under their mission and brand without interest in carrying the Fresh Rx trademark and brand marks.
Program Affiliate Benefits
15 Hours of start-up consultation including 8 hours on-site/in-person
Copy of program design, policies & procedures, curriculum, program measurements, outcomes, and implementation best practices
Fresh Rx Affiliate Partner stamp of approval
Annual review of program once implemented by founding Physician and Program Director
On-going mentoring and support
Program Affiliate Requirements
501 c3 organization in good standing with the IRS and at the state and local levels
Bench strength to effectively implement and maintain the program(s)
Commitment to improving the lives and health of the community as demonstrated by a sound and high impact mission
